Coach Henry Han

Henry Han is the founder of Hanhockey and a dedicated coach with over 10 years of experience developing youth hockey players in the Greater Vancouver area. His coaching focuses on building complete athletes—combining strong fundamentals, hockey IQ, and character.

Known for his high-energy, detail-oriented sessions, Henry emphasizes skating, edge work, puck control, and game awareness. His approach goes beyond drills, helping players understand how to apply skills in real game situations.

Henry’s coaching philosophy is rooted in trust, respect, accountability, and fun. He creates an environment where players are pushed to improve while gaining confidence and enjoying the process.

As both a coach and hockey parent, Henry brings real-world perspective to the ice—understanding what families value and what players need to succeed. He takes pride in providing honest feedback, building strong relationships, and helping every athlete reach their full potential.
