TEAM DRESSING ROOMS – RICHMOND ICE CENTRE
 Change rooms are typically: 1 / 3 or 2 / 4

  • Home team should use the lower-numbered room
  • Week 1 games are on the Igloo, Garage and Pond rinks – please use the West Entrance

SUMMER LEAGUE RULES & FORMAT

  • ❌ No body checking allowed
  • 👥 Max 10 skaters + 2 goalies per team
  • 🧑‍🏫 Paid bench coaches, supported by parent volunteers
  • 🧑‍⚖️ Paid referees (Note: U10 games may use one referee)
  • ⏱️ Timekeeping managed by parent volunteers or coach/referee
  • 🚫 All penalties will result in a penalty shot

Disciplinary Rules

  • Any intentional cross-checking, body checking, or head contact may result in an automatic one-game suspension
  • All gameplay follows the Hockey Canada Rule Book:

GAME FORMAT

  • Warm up time: 5 minutes
  • Running time: 3 periods – 15 / 15 / 20 minutes
  • Format: 4-on-4
    • Line setups: 2 Defense & 2 Forwards OR 1 Defense & 3 Forwards

MERCY RULE

  • If the goal differential reaches 4 or more, the trailing team is allowed one extra skater (5-on-4)
  • This continues until the differential is reduced to 3 goals
